The purpose of this course is to familiarize the student with the skills, concepts, and tools of improvisation, including the pentatonic and blues scales, riffs, licks, turnarounds, sequences, and more. The audio CD provides 15 blues tracks with drums, bass, and rhythm guitar for you to practice improvising solos. This course has been designed to be used as part of the daily practice routine, allowing you to explore their individuality and creativity. It develops three different skill areas: 1) Physical ? the ability to physically execute chords, scales, riffs, etc.; 2) Mental ? the knowledge and understanding of music and music theory; and 3) Creativity ? the applications of physical and mental aspects in any combination you desire. This course allows you to develop at your own rate and to make the best use of your practice time.
